Job description: |
- 1- Oversee the overall operations of the registrar’s office, supervise associate registrars, and serve as a gatekeeper for all policies and procedures related to academic records and a steward of students’ information
- 2- Recommend and participate in the development of academic university policies and procedures regarding student registration, records, class schedules, instructional space scheduling, residency requirements, and graduation requirements
- 3- Represent the University on issues pertaining to student academic records to various university divisions as well as externally to governmental agencies
- 4- Maintain and upgrade the University’s academic information infrastructures including academic records archives, on-line student database, and other electronic databases, student information and degree audit systems
- 5- Oversee the development and publishing of the class schedules
- 6- Oversee the military service status for Egyptian male students
- 7-Coordinate activities related to commencements
- 8-Serve on university committees relevant to the area
- 9-Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Experience: |
- 3-5 years experience as a registrar or closely related enrollment professional at a higher education institution
|

- 1- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with various constituents; ability to maintain confidentiality; ability to remain calm and professional in difficult conversations or stressful situations
- 2- Strong customer service mindset with special emphasis on looking for ways to improve the student experience
- 3- Initiative and excellent organizational skills; ability to work within a team or independently; ability to organize and prioritize work
- 4- Proficient in the use of computers and information systems including Microsoft applications, a variety of software applications, and student information systems
- 5- Familiarity with the basic operations of the Office of the Registrar and the best practices at other academic institutions
- 6- Understanding of and ability to enforce academic policies and procedures, standards and curricula
- 7- Experience in advising and student interaction; ability to troubleshoot student issues
- 8- Knowledge of University academic policies, procedures, processes and rules concerning registration processes, transcript production, processing grades, graduation certification, and record retention and storage
- 9- A commitment to diversity and inclusion in the workplace
- 10- Ability and willingness to effectively provide support to international students
