These rankings are among the most respected worldwide, alongside the QS World University Rankings and the Academic Ranking of World Universities (Shanghai Ranking).
The Times Higher Education Impact Rankings differ from traditional academic assessments by focusing on how universities contribute to achieving the 17 SDGs, including ending poverty, promoting gender equality, fostering innovation, and supporting inclusive economic growth. They highlight how institutions address global challenges through research, outreach, and sustainable practices.
In this edition, SU Tech was ranked in the +1501 global category, reflecting its growing engagement with sustainability initiatives. The university also achieved notable placements in individual SDG categories, including a position among the top 800 universities worldwide in Decent Work and Economic Growth (SDG 8), recognizing its focus on employment-oriented education and economic development.
Additionally, SU Tech ranked among the top 1000 universities globally in Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure (SDG 9), No Poverty (SDG 1), Gender Equality (SDG 5), and Reduced Inequalities (SDG 10), demonstrating its commitment to inclusive education, equity, and sustainable progress.
