Elsewedy University of Technology (SU Tech) had the distinct honor of hosting a special Indian Culture Day in collaboration with the Embassy of India and the Maulana Azad Centre for Indian Culture. This vibrant event celebrated the rich cultural heritage of India and highlighted the strong educational and cultural ties between India and Egypt.
We were privileged to welcome Dr. Prakash Kumar Choudhary, Cultural Counselor of the Embassy of India in Cairo, and Ambridge Sarkar, teacher of art. Dr. Prakash delivered an insightful speech on India’s profound impact on Egypt, emphasizing the longstanding collaborations between our two nations in various fields. Meanwhile, Ambridge Sarkar captivated the audience with a compelling presentation on “India’s Spirit,” exploring the country’s deep-rooted beliefs, traditions, and cultural diversity.
Adding to the immersive experience, SU Tech hosted an art gallery on campus, showcasing India’s remarkable architecture, history, and handcrafted artistry. This exhibition allowed students and faculty to appreciate India’s artistic and historical achievements up close, further fostering cultural appreciation and dialogue.
We extend our sincere gratitude to the Embassy of India and the Maulana Azad Centre for Indian Culture for making this event a success. It was an inspiring day that strengthened our commitment to cross-cultural exchange.
