Dr. Abdallah Fathy Badawy

Dr. Abdallah Fathy has a three-year industrial experience in the electronic industry and mobile communication. As a Teaching/Lecturer Assistant, he has a 12-year academic experience at the GUC, where he supervised a B.Sc. project at the Faculty of IET. In September 2023, Dr. Fathy joined Elsewedy University of Technology – Polytechnic of Egypt as an Assistant Professor, teaching electrical engineering technology courses and supervising related projects. Dr. Fathy finished the courses entitled “Designing Learning Innovation” and “From Course Design to Active Learning in Engineering Education” by POK of the Politecnico di Milano.

He is a reviewer at the international competition on smart innovation technologies (IC-SIT) and international exhibition of innovations (IEI), IEEE Egypt AP-S /MTT-S Joint Chapter, and IEEE Access Journal. He contributed as a session chair at the 14th International Conference on Model and Data Engineering (MEDI 2025), organized by ElSewedy University of Technology, Cairo, Egypt, held during November 2–4, 2025. He authored 12 papers in the fields of channel modeling, encryption, and robots’ utilization. He contributed to lab infrastructure related to seven courses in Electrical and Electronic Engineering Technology at the SUT.

He Contributed in establishing the academic bylaw for Electronic Engineering Technology and Electrical Power Engineering Technology Programs (for undergraduate studies) at the SUT in 2023. He contributed in establishing the academic bylaw for Electronics and Communications Engineering Technology Program (for postgraduate studies) at the SUT in 2026. He is responsible for the national quality accreditation unit.
