Prof. Mohamed Ali Sobh

Prof. Mohamed Sobh is the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering Technology at Elsewedy University of Technology and a Professor of Computer Engineering at Ain Shams University. Additionally, he serves as the Digital Transformation Consultant to the Deputy Minister of Education for Technical Education.

With 30 years of experience in academic and industrial careers, Prof. Mohamed acts as the Chief Technical Officer for various industrial and governmental organizations. He has participated in developing over 50 hardware and software solutions for both national and international markets.

Prof. Mohamed leads digital transformation activities in many private and governmental organizations. He was either PI or Co-PI in many applied research projects, such as the development and manufacturing of Digital Signature Tokens, Smart Card Operating Systems, Secure IoT Platforms, and DPI-based SDN Networks.

As a teacher, Prof. Mohamed applies practical teaching strategies to build skills required by the industry alongside simplified theoretical concepts. Furthermore, he has built and provided advanced training for local and international organizations.
