Prof. Rehab Farouk Mahmoud

Prof. Rehab Abdel-Kader is an accomplished Professor of Image Processing and Artificial Intelligence with over 20 years of international teaching, research, and professional experience. She currently serves as Chair of Graduate Studies and Research at ElSewedy University of Technology and as a Professor in the School of Artificial Intelligence & Computer Engineering Technology.

Prof. Abdel-Kader previously served as Vice Dean of Graduate Studies and Research at the Faculty of Engineering, Port Said University. She holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from Auburn University, USA, and has an extensive portfolio of peer-reviewed publications and edited volumes. Her research focuses on artificial intelligence, computer vision, and big data, including leading major funded projects in infrastructure monitoring and water management.

She has actively organized and participated in international conferences, served on editorial boards, and contributed to joint research initiatives, fostering innovation and collaboration across academic and professional communities. Prof. Abdel-Kader is also recognized by the Supreme Council of Universities in Egypt, serving on the National Committee for the Promotion of Faculty Members, reflecting her leadership and influence in advancing higher education.
