Students from the Product Design Program at SUTech’s Faculty of Digital Arts and Design proudly represented the university at the Damietta Festival of Arts and Culture, a prominent national celebration that gathers leading designers, artists, and cultural institutions from across Egypt.
The festival offered students a valuable opportunity to showcase their creativity while engaging in one of the country’s most important cultural platforms. Their participation underscored SUTech’s vision of preparing students not only with academic knowledge but also with practical exposure to the wider design and arts community.
As part of their trip, the students began with a field visit to the Pinocchio Wood Industries Factory, where they gained hands-on exposure to industry practices. This experience enriched their understanding of design processes and highlighted the importance of connecting classroom learning with real-world applications.
The delegation, consisting of second-year students, reflected SUTech’s growing commitment to community engagement and cultural outreach. With numerous art universities contributing to the Damietta Festival, SUTech’s strong involvement reaffirmed its role as a key player in shaping Egypt’s creative and artistic landscape.
By participating in such a significant cultural forum, the students not only demonstrated their talent but also joined a broader dialogue on design, innovation, and cultural heritage—further preparing them to become future leaders in Egypt’s creative economy.
