Eng. Ahmed Elsewedy

With more than 35 years of accomplishments across multiple industries, Eng. Ahmed ElSewedy has been a pillar in the field of electricity and energy. Eng. Ahmed has spearheaded the development of ElSewedy Electric, managing it from a small [MRSM1.1]cable factory in Egypt to cementing it into a multi-million dollars [MRSM2.1]entity that is one of the largest worldwide providers of integrated energy solutions. Having achieved industry-wide success in challenging, goal-oriented environments, Eng. Ahmed has earned a reputation for identifying new business opportunities, increasing revenue, and capturing new market share. His experience across multiple industries has equipped him with extensive expertise that has allowed him to implement his work methodology in the field of education. Eng. Ahmed has been an adamant advocate of social responsibility and educational equality. With the profound desire to bridge the gap between academia and industry, he established in 2011 “ElSewedy Technical Academy” (STA).

STA, with its technical education and vocational training, has honed the skills of young people in various industrial and craft fields with the aim of offering sustainable quality education and maximizing community impact. Eng. Ahmed has been a market leader in providing cutting-edge technology-centric learning opportunities for young people to develop an agile, resilient, and proficient workforce. As he is continuously looking for outstanding students who embody excellence and have the potential and passion to advance themselves and their communities, “The Knowledge Hub” (TKH) was established in 2019. TKH is a multidisciplinary educational hub hosting branches of world-class universities such as Coventry and Nova universities. In 2023, to adapt production to the global trends of tomorrow’s economy, “ElSewedy University of Technology” (SUT) was established. SUT is shaping the technology landscape through its collaboration with Amity University Dubai. SUT is bringing in leading international technologies and standards, enabling our youth to become competent, innovative pioneers ready for the local and global market.
