Mr. Mohamed Shelbaya

Mr. Mohamed Shelbaya brings decades of leadership experience within PepsiCo, where he has played an instrumental role in driving business growth and innovation across multiple markets. Throughout his career, he has consistently demonstrated strong leadership in scaling operations, enhancing brand equity, and delivering sustained market share growth.

He previously held the position of Vice President of the MENA Snacks Category, where he led the expansion of the snacks portfolio and achieved record-breaking performance. As General Manager of Egypt Snacks, he successfully delivered double-digit growth, strengthening the company’s position in the market.

Mr. Shelbaya began his professional journey in advertising with Saatchi & Saatchi across Egypt and the GCC, before joining PepsiCo in 1994, where he has since held multiple senior roles across sales, marketing, and operations.

He serves as a board member in several organizations, including the American Chamber of Commerce in Egypt and the Egyptian Junior Business Association.

Mr. Shelbaya holds a degree in Economics from the American University in Cairo.
